Scot,

It is a possibility, that over time, Zappos could become a home for 3P merchants as well. They didn't do that with Endless but it makes more sense on Zappos.

Scot,
What would keep AMZN/Zappos from developing their own on-line dynamic pricing system for selling open box/returns and out of season goods?

If they wanted to go brick and mortar, Coach seems to do just fine with outlet malls. Zappos has shown it can sell shoes on-line. Why not have say an auction site for selling these shoes? Dell has gotten active on-line on their sites for refurbish/re-builts.

Regards,
Roy

Going brick-and-mortar is very enticing idea even with some limit of this model.
What about "to make up for" 3P merchants and sell them (or top 10 of them) all returns products in some kind of auction system ?
