Amazon introduces easy seller phone support

Amazon offers Seller phone supportToday Amazon announced that it has added phone support to its Technical Support feature for Seller Central merchants. Simply click at the bottom of any page on “Get technical support”, pick the area of interest (let’s say “General Policies …”) and then select at the bottom of the page “By Phone”. A pop-up invites you to specify your country, call-back number and when you would like to be called.

Note that this feature is only available Monday - Friday: 7am - 6pm and Saturday, Sunday: 7:30am - 4:30pm PST.

Here’s the announcement:

We are very excited to offer a new service in your seller account. You can now call Amazon Services by using the new Click to Call feature in your Seller Account.

One of the many benefits of the Click to Call feature is improved account security and a streamlined authentication process. Because you will be logged in to your seller account when making the call, our support team will already know who you are. After a quick verification, we can begin helping you right away.

When using Click to Call, you will still receive the world-class support you are accustomed to. We highly recommend that you use Click to Call whenever you need our assistance over the phone.

Using Click to Call is easy:

1. Log in to your seller account.

2. Choose the “Seller Help” link in the upper right corner of the home page.

3. Choose the “By phone” link in the Contact Us box on the right side of the page.

4. Wait for the “Call back” request pop up, or select the “Call Me” option.

5. Fill out the short “Request call back” form and click Submit.

We’ll call you back to assist with your questions.
