Updated return policy on Amazon.co.uk

Oct 5th, 2007 | By Max Leisten | Category: Amazon Announcements, Amazon International

Amazon UK is changing its return policy for most of its categories (Consumer Electronics will remain at 7 days) to bring it more in line with its US policy: you can now play with you purchase for 30 days before sending it back (like that XBox 360 and the Halo 3 game you were “evaluating”).

Effective 8th October 2007, Amazon is launching a standard returns policy for Marketplace orders. Instead of requiring returns to be postmarked within seven days of receipt, buyers will be required to postmark returns within 30 days of shipment.

Amazon US’ standard return policy gives buyers 30 days from the delivery date to return a product so there’s a slight difference (shipped vs. receipt of the item).
