Meet Amazon @ the IMA Conference in Vegas
Feb 8th, 2008 | By Max Leisten | Category: Amazon Resources & ToolsI will be at the IMA conference in Las Vegas in early March (03/03 - 03/05) and several representatives from Amazon will be present to talk about Seller Central, Amazon Webstore and Fulfillment By Amazon. These conferences are a great opportunity to (a) build strategic relationships with Amazonites and (b) request help with issues that may stop you from selling on this channel (can’t get into a gated category, account is blocked or throttled, or crazy category).
There will also be representatives from eBay (always interesting especially following their recent we-want-to-be-more-like-Amazon changes) and presentations on a wide variety of eCommerce topics relevant to online retailers. More importantly, Scot Wingo is going to talk about Comparison Shopping Engines (and I bet he will mention the new Amazon Product Ads program and how it stacks up to the existing contenders). And if you are a real glutton for punishment you can even endure a full hour presentation by me on how to get started in eCommerce — with a heavy German accent.
